Well, time got away from me this week! We were so busy learning, exploring, and helping each other along the way that I often missed the opportunity to take a picture.
Here is a glimmer of what we learned and explored this week:
We listened to our Leader of the Week read about her adventures with Gummy Bear, our class pet!
We made observations of our lima beans as they go through germination.
We learned that seeds need water, moisture, and warmth to germinate.
We were thrilled to see that after 7 days we could see the seed coat peel off, touch and feel the root and stem, and even observe a few leaves.
We also learned that nouns are people, places, and things.
We went on a hunt around the classroom looking for nouns.
