This standard expects that students can demonstrate their ability to recognize “counting on” as the same process used in addition. Similarly, students will recognize “counting back” as subtraction.
Science:
We will continue to make observations on our seeds as they begin to transform and grow.
Rooted Mind:
We will review our roots from previous weeks (tele = distant; script/scribe = to write; port = to carry or bear).
Leader in Me:
We will review Habits 1-4 and introduce Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood.
Ask your child to show you our hand motions as we recite the 7 Habits!
Robotics:
Last week, we explored Cubelets in the classroom. Our activities this week will continue to focus on discovery as we tackle various challenges created by the teacher!
