- identify key (important) details in text
- finding examples of text evidence
Phonics and Grammar:
- suffixes -ly (with/like) and -ful (full of)
- different spellings for long o, long u, and long i
- adjectives for size and shape

MATH:
This week we officially start our Geometry unit. We will be working on the following skills and working on a wide-range of skills at our "just right" levels:
- understanding the difference between defining attributes and non-defining attributes for shapes (example- defining attribute for a triangle- 3 sides, 3 vertices; non-defining attribute for triangle- color or size)
- Reviewing place value, addition (with and without regrouping), subtraction (with and without borrowing), and analyzing and interpreting data
