This Week in Room 8 (5/30 to 6/2)

This week we will continue to work on our Cinderella stories, our Specialty Shop PBL, and starting our KIPLING countdown!

Kipling Countdown is just around the corner... Thursday! Thursday 6/1- K: Kindergarten Visits- Kindergarten will visit our classrooms. We will teach them about some first grade activities they will do next year. Friday 6/2- I: Inside-out Day- Wear your clothes inside-out! Monday 6/5- P: Pride Day- Let's celebrate and be proud of our accomplishments! Think about two things you are proud of that you learned to do this school year. Be ready to write about your two proud things. Tuesday 6/6- L: Letter to your 2nd Grade Teacher (also Field Day)- We will write letters to our future teachers during ELA! Field day will be in the afternoon. Our class will represent Italy. Be sure to wear red, white, and green. You can even get creative and come to school wearing face paint or hair color spray with our team's colors! Wednesday 6/7- I: Introduction to 2nd Grade Classrooms- We will go and visit the second grade classrooms to learn more about second grade! Thursday 6/8- N: New Name Day- Pick a new name (must be appropriate) for the morning! We will wear name tags so that our teachers don't get too confused. Friday 6/9- G: Go Sharpen Your Saw with Summer Fun!
